What types of OEM parts do you buy?
We buy a wide range of genuine OEM parts for cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles. This includes mechanical, electrical, maintenance, and smaller body or trim parts such as fog light bezels. We generally do not purchase large or bulky body parts, such as hoods, doors, bumpers, or similar oversized items. We also typically do not purchase parts for heavy-duty 18-wheelers, commercial trucks, or boats.
Do you only buy genuine OEM parts?
Yes. We only purchase genuine OEM parts and accessories. In addition to automotive and motorcycle parts, we also purchase genuine OEM-branded lifestyle merchandise and accessories, including clothing, jackets, hats, rings, collectibles, and other branded items.
Which manufacturers do you buy?
We purchase genuine OEM parts from virtually any automotive or motorcycle manufacturer with vehicles sold in the United States. While most of our purchases are within the U.S., we occasionally purchase inventory from dealers and service centers in Canada and Mexico when the size and value of the opportunity make international shipping and customs worthwhile.
Do you buy obsolete and discontinued parts?
Absolutely! We buy most genuine OEM parts, including obsolete, discontinued, and hard-to-find inventory. In fact, we especially enjoy coming across rare, one-off, or unusual OEM parts and accessories. That’s the automotive enthusiast in us!
Do you buy parts from dealerships that are closing or being acquired?
Yes. We have helped several dealerships clear out their parts inventory while closing their doors, being acquired, or changing ownership. We understand these situations can move quickly, so we work with your team to make the process as simple as possible and help turn remaining OEM parts inventory into cash.
Is there a minimum inventory value or quantity?
We typically look for enough inventory to fill a pallet, which is usually around 50 parts with a total purchase value of at least $1,000. This helps make the shipping and logistics worthwhile for everyone involved. If you’re close to these numbers, feel free to send us your inventory list and we’ll be happy to take a look.
How do I submit my parts inventory for an offer?
Simply email your inventory list to chris@findrareparts.com. Once we receive your list, we’ll review the inventory and get back to you with an offer or any questions we may have.
What information do you need to make an offer?
An Excel file is best. Please include part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and dealer costs. You can also send us your raw aging inventory report, including 12-month, 24-month, or older inventory. There’s no need to clean up or organize the file for us. Send us what you have, and we’ll take it from there.
How quickly will I receive an offer?
Turnaround time depends on the size of your inventory list. Smaller lists can typically be reviewed and quoted within a day or two, while larger inventories may take a little longer. If you have questions or would like to follow up before receiving your quote, give us a call at 781 917 1113.
Do we need to package the parts?
Yes. We ask that all parts be securely palletized and shrink wrapped before pickup. We’ll also need the estimated weight and dimensions of each pallet so we can arrange freight. Once everything is ready, we’ll schedule the pickup for a time of day that works for you.
How do I submit my parts inventory for an offer?
We can mail you a check or arrange ACH payment. Checks typically arrive within 7 to 10 days. If you prefer, we can wait until you confirm that payment has been received before we schedule the freight pickup.

Yes. We arrange the freight and pickup for you. We’ll work around your schedule to coordinate a pickup time that works best for you and your team. Our goal is to make the process as easy and convenient as possible.
